Every tool on Readability Desk is free and stays free. We are considering a paid option for people who check a lot of text — editors, content teams, teachers and plain-language writers. It does not exist yet. If it sounds useful, leave your email below and we will write to you once, when it opens.
What stays free
- Every calculator and checker on the site, with the full result, for texts of any length up to the page limit.
- Sharing a result through its page address.
What Pro or the API would add
- Saved projects: keep several documents and see how their scores change as you edit.
- PDF reports: a one-page report of the scores for a text, to attach to a review or a style guide.
- An API for the same calculations, for your own tools and publishing pipelines.
We will only build these if enough people ask for them, and we will not take payment until they work.
